Route 02 — Farmer Cooperatives

Start a spice processing unit, together

When farmers organise as a group, they can move up the value chain. Meekoo partners the cooperative financially to set up a spice processing unit — and guarantees the market by purchasing the processed spices and selling them through Meekoo’s brands and channels.

Neighbouring spice farmers come together — an FPO, cooperative society or registered group.

Plan the unit with Meekoo
Cleaning, grading, drying, grinding or packing — sized to your crop and region, planned jointly.

Meekoo invests as partner
Meekoo supports the processing unit financially in partnership with the cooperative.

Meekoo buys & sells the output
The processed spices are purchased by Meekoo and sold through Meekoo brands and channels — domestic and export.
